Czardas

Czardas (pronounced SHAR-dis) is a beautiful 15.1-hand chestnut Arabian (no papers) mare, 15 years old. She has had extensive show-ring experience and a good foundation in dressage training. She came to Eye of the Storm in Autumn, 2000, as a very unhappy horse with back and shoulder pain that made her virtually unrideable.

We have not yet decided what her future will be as she is beautifully trained and we use her in our small lesson program for children. She is very good with them and is probably worth her weight in gold for that reason. We have learned a great deal about her past and it was not pleasant. But it explains a lot about her rather odd behavior at times. We'll keep you informed...
